Stakeholders tell me that they want foreign direct investment, but they also want more research coming to Scotland, and the latest figures show a promising prospect in that regard.

Regional Marine Planning visits - key themes
Five key themes emerged from discussions during the visits:

These themes form the basis for the summary of discussions held during each visit (below).
I anticipate that those questions would engage subjects such as how the Scottish legal system was involved, the fact that the vessel was sitting in Scottish waters and the fact that 26 of the crew were taken ashore in Scotland.

In this round of voting in the election of the Deputy Presiding Officer, the number of votes cast for each candidate was: Claire Baker 9, Jeremy Balfour 6, Annabelle Ewing 58, Rhoda Grant 14, Liam McArthur 26 and Edward Mountain 13. There were no abstentions or spoiled ballot papers.
