Members' Business motions that have not achieved cross party support *S5M-09851 Murdo Fraser: A9 Dualling at Killiecrankie That the Parliament notes with — concern reported plans to widen the A9 through the historic Battle of Killiecrankie site; understands that current plans show a widened route, which will result in huge earthworks and associated construction; believes that the road works would seriously impact the Lagnabuaig settlement, which was used as a sniping post, the memorial cairn, where visitors pay their respect to the fallen, Urrad House, where the shot was fired that killed Bonnie Dundee, a category B listed wall and garden, and the stepped terraces, where much of the fighting took place; understands that a local campaign group has been created to oppose the current plans; considers that the battle site is relatively uncharted from an archaeological perspective and a widened A9 as proposed on the northbound site would jeopardise all meaningful further archaeological excavations, and believes that other options exist for widening the road that would avoid disrupting much of the current battle site.

Pro-choice activity There have been some isolated reports of pro-choice activity outside sites that provide abortion services, seemingly as a response to the perceived impact of anti-abortion activity at the same sites.

If passed today, the bill will create zones of 200m around 30 sites in the whole of Scotland. Within those zones, it is true that those who oppose abortion will not be able to target women or staff as they access or provide services.
