A material breach by the tenant is an act or omission by the tenant, or a change in the tenant’s circumstances, which the lease deemed to be a material breach of the lease. 207.

Tenants' rights, and the First-tier Tribunal
Throughout our work on housing in Session 6, we have heard about the challenges which tenants can face in finding a suitable home, in enforcing their rights, and sometimes in understanding or being aware of those rights.
It also provides for an adjudicator to enforce the Code. “Tied” tenants are pub-tenants who are under a contractual obligation to buy some or all of their products from the pub-owning business.

The Cost of Living (Tenant) Protection (Scotland) Act 2022 gives the Scottish Ministers temporary power to cap rents for private and social tenants, as well as for student accommodation.
