The Bill is made up of 5 parts (26 clauses) and a schedule. Its provisions extend to England, Wales and Scotland, excluding sections 17 and 18 which only extend to Scotland.

The CG recommends that its successor consider an update on the witness diversity survey pilot and plays a role in encouraging committees to continue to trial new approaches to promoting the survey to witnesses in the new session.
