*S5M-00398 Gail Ross: Cruise Figures That the Parliament welcomes the positive impact that — cruise tourism has in Caithness, Sutherland and Ross; notes the imminent arrival of the ship, Disney Magic, to the port of Invergordon on the Cromarty Firth; believes that this will be is one of 63 cruise ships to visit the harbour during the 2016 season, which runs from 25 April to 26 September and is expected to bring an estimated 93,000 passengers to the area and £11 million to the surrounding economy; understands that an estimated 644 such ships will visit Scotland in 2016, bringing an expected record 525,000 passengers, and welcomes what it sees as the boost that this will bring to the economy.
