Disabled People (Employment Rate) To ask the Scottish Government what progress has been made regarding increasing the employment rate for disabled people. (S6O-01485) The latest figures from the Office for National Statistics annual population survey show that the employment rate for disabled people in 2021 was estimated to be 49.6 per cent.
There is a lot in that question, Mr Kerr, so I hope that the convener will bear with me. The latest figures show that in excess of 15,000 community payback orders have been issued across Scotland.

This is mainly due to the implementation of a new IT Patient Management System in some NHS boards which has resulted in data submission backlogs for this time period.
The consultation will run for eight weeks, until 26 January 2018. We will then work swiftly to ensure that the order that sets the minimum unit price is laid before Parliament on 1 March 2018.
Data in relation to the Young Patients Family Fund is not routinely published however, latest information for 2022-23 shows that 8,415 claims were submitted under YPFF and that this equated to 3,740 young inpatients being claimed for.
