Collaboration has to be at the heart of our efforts to close the attainment gap and it is certainly at the heart of our thinking on how we are progressing with the Scottish attainment challenge, because through the efforts of Education Scotland and the national improvement hub we want to spread the knowledge and learning that we gain from the work that we are doing on the attainment challenge. I visit schools regularly and it is clear to me that we have good schools and that they are doing great things.
