The Scottish Government has published its response to the review on its planning web page. The Scottish Government considers there is a need for effective engagement in planning at all levels and this is reflected in the actions within the response.
I note that the committee has written to all 32 local authorities seeking further information on that point and has received responses from 26 of them. It is important to note that not one of those agreed that changing the prescription period was appropriate.
