One of the ways that we are seeking to solve that is through the discretionary funding that we have provided to local government, and I have already referred to the latest tranche of £80 million. That reflects the recognition that councils have local knowledge that they can bring to bear in supporting businesses.

NESTRANS were successful in the latest round of the Local Rail Development Fund (LRDF) and will be taking forward an appraisal in respect of cross-Aberdeen rail travel which includes consideration of new stations South of Aberdeen, including Cove.
There are, however, some grounds for optimism that the latest wave of the pandemic may now have peaked, and we will continue to assess the data closely to see whether those early signs are indeed indicative of a sustained fall in cases.
