We remain committed to maintaining funding for prison visitor centres in 2023-24. I take the opportunity to say a huge well done to Recovery Enterprises Scotland in East Ayrshire, which has provided the PVC service at HMP Kilmarnock since January.
We also looked at the potential use of the transient visitor levy and the importance of having a cultural voice at the table when councils are looking at how that is spent.

The instrument provides that a one-off £500 payment that is to be made to persons who are eligible for working tax credits is to be disregarded, for the purposes of council tax reduction, in calculating a person’s capital.
These place-based partnerships are broadly aimed at supporting service redesign and system reform, in the context of tackling child poverty and wider public service reform.
