This whole thing is about how employment can help to reduce child poverty in the target groups of the child poverty delivery plan. The latest stats show that 26 per cent of the children of single parents who are in full-time work are still in poverty.
In closing, Colin Smyth MSP reflected on the importance of engagement with business and the need to do more to promote Fair Work. The Minister for Employment and Investment reiterated the importance Fair Work has for the Scottish Government and the measures it has taken since 2015.
