We are working with local systems as part of the annual planning process for 2025-26 to ensure any additional funding to expand Hospital at Home is targeted towards the areas that offer the greatest improvement to performance and patient care.

The Scottish Government will announce its spending plans for 2025-26 in its budget, on 4 December, with more detailed consideration of portfolio spend priorities, including the Monitor Farm Programme, being taken shortly thereafter.

Section 8 inserts a new section 6H into Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000, which permits the Electoral Commission to prepare a draft code of practice in relation to the election expenses incurred by candidates at Scottish parliamentary elections.
