Financial support to facilitate the transfer of businesses and other entities to employee owned is provided by Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise rather than from the budget of Co-operative Development Scotland.

This agreement rules out the military use of any material transferred under its terms. The Highlands and Islands Airports Limited board are responsible for operational decisions, and for the safe operation of Wick Airport.
We are also continuing to provide support for more than 38,000 apprentices who are already in training, as at 26 September 2025. We appreciate that there is growing demand for apprenticeships.
