During this period figures for new outpatient appointments are 1,988 by non-NHS providers out of 1,273,588 in total (0.16%), involving 1,943 new patients out of a total of 964,316 new patients.
That is continuing to happen. For example, the latest census showed the population change in the Outer Hebrides to be minus 5 per cent: it is one of the few places in Scotland where the population has gone down.
Among other notable figures is the fact that 26 people committed domestic abuse while released on bail, while last year’s figure of more than 65,000 incidents of domestic abuse was a record high.
Consumers are no longer prepared to change their lifestyle to visit high street shops as often as they once did, and instead want a retail offer that suits their new lifestyle.
