Amendment 50 ensures that, when visiting is to be suspended to prevent a serious risk, the provider must continue to support visits when they believe that the suspension of visits is causing or is likely to cause serious harm to the resident’s health or wellbeing, and that harm outweighs the serious risk that led to the suspension of visits.
