*S6M-09955 Ivan McKee: Glasgow Saints FC Partnership with Openreach and Wolfson Brands—That the Parliament welcomes the news of a partnership of the inclusive football club, Glasgow Saints FC, with Openreach and Wolfson Brands; recognises that the club, based in Dennistoun, in the Glasgow Provan constituency, gives Glaswegians from all different backgrounds a safe place to play the game; notes that the players and coaches are from various cultural, religious and financial backgrounds, with asylum seekers and refugees among those in the squad; welcomes the support of Openreach, which will support Glasgow Saints FC by funding new training kits and match balls, and recognises Glasgow Saints FC's aim to tackle isolation, food poverty and engage in local social initiatives, with players and staff committing to one hour of volunteering each month and taking part in fundraisers for good causes in Glasgow.
