Thank you for meeting with me last week to discuss the Fiscal Framework Review, alongside the Deputy Convener, and the Convener of the Social Justice and Social Security Committee.
The issue of language is one side of the coin. The other side of the coin is lack of awareness of what services are out there, particularly in specific BME communities such as the older Chinese community.
The DPLRC considered delegated powers conferred on the Scottish Ministers by the amendments to Bill in the following areas:
New clause “Remote sale or letting of knives etc: Scotland” – inserting new section 141C(5)(a)(ii) of the Criminal Justice Act 1988: Power to prescribe an alternative process for age verification
