To refer back to what the minister said at the start of the discussion, those staff will undertake the intense technical work that needs to happen on land review visits and digitising maps. It is for a mixture of IT and the new duties that the area office staff will have to undertake.
Consultation on participation in armed forces visits to schools
The third element of the petition, which called for parental/guardian consent to be provided prior to participation in armed forces visits, was the one on which the views of stakeholders diverged from the action called for in the petition.
Furthermore, over the next few months, a £26 million laboratory complex will be opened, leveraging £7 million of public sector investment, which will lead to 180 new externally funded and high-value jobs for Scotland’s life sciences sector.
