To date, Historic Scotland has awarded £26 million of funding towards 46 area based regeneration and conservation initiatives undertaken by 22 separate local authorities and one National Park Authority.
Jackson Carlaw (Con) Eastwood (C) Finlay Carson (Con) Galloway and West Dumfries (C) Maggie Chapman (Green) North East Scotland (R) Foysol Choudhury (Ind) Lothian (R) Foysol Choudhury was suspended from the Scottish Labour Party on 26 September 2025. He is now an Independent MSP.
Those issues have now been addressed in the updated framework agreement that I sent to the committee on 26 February and that is included in the papers for today’s meeting.
