To ask the Scottish Government whether the Cabinet Secretary for Constitution, External Affairs and Culture raised any concerns in relation to human rights during his recent visit to China. I visited China between 22 – 29 November.
The cabinet secretary went on to state that additional visiting restrictions have been reimposed in areas that have had increases in cases, but essential visits have always been permitted.
As yet, there is no bid. FIFA held its latest council meeting in Shanghai in October 2019, during which it announced that 2030 bids would be submitted in 2024.The bidding rules and timeline for the 2030 bid process have not been released yet; it is anticipated that they will be released by May or June 2022.
