Stage 1 report on the Land Reform (Scotland) Bill - Rent Review
The Tenant Farming Commissioner was considered to have done great work to make reviews fairer but this was considered to be hampered by not having "teeth" so his guidance could ultimately be ignored. The Bill was viewed as an opportunity to improve the rent review processes and stop misuses.
