The Minister also said that the Scottish Government is exploring whether legislation could be amended to allow those with unattached grazing shares who have apportioned this into a deemed croft could apply to decroft a small area of land for a house site.
Members heard evidence about the problems caused by grazing shares becoming unintentionally separated from the inbye croft and the Committee welcomes the Bill's provisions to prevent any future unintended separation of shares.
There was also criticism of a lack of measurable objectives for future monitoring of the plan.
A community council representative said the draft CRMP was the National Marine Plan “rewritten”.
