Age is an interesting issue. I recently visited what is called a lunch club for old people, but I think that everybody in the chamber now—except perhaps Mr Arthur—would be welcome at it, because lunch clubs get younger and younger.
For the past few years, we have been lucky that people have had staycations and have visited different parts of the country that they might not have visited before, but now that people are starting to travel abroad, we will lose that domestic income.
The Committee is aware that when petitions are referred to other Committees, they are not always given equal status compared to other items on a committee’s work programme.
