We are aware that Assessors were considering the valuation of ATM sites and they concluded that in most retail premises it is likely that such sites will be deleted from the Valuation Roll.

I do not come here today with a proposal for how the power should be used—that is for a future Government to decide—but I recommend that we agree to having the additional flexibility.I note that there will be keen stakeholder interest in how a future Scottish Government might use the power.
I have been clear that ministers will leave no stone unturned when it comes to securing a sustainable, successful future for Ferguson Marine. The best way to secure that future, as I think everybody involved knows, is via improved competitiveness.
