Scottish Outdoor Access Code To ask the Scottish Government what steps it is taking to ensure that people visiting rural Scotland, including the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, are aware of the Scottish outdoor access code.
The Committee considered the delegated powers in the Bill at Stage 1 at its meetings on 19 December 2023 and 23 January 2024 and issued its report on 26 January 2024.
The Bill completed Stage 2 on 15 May 2024.

The Scottish Government has prepared a Delegated Powers Memorandum (“DPM”) which sets out the reasons for taking the delegated powers in the Bill and the procedure chosen.
At its meeting on Tuesday, 26 November, the Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government to query the choice of procedure applicable to two of the powers in the Bill.
