Introduction
At its meeting on 26 February, the Committee took evidence from Ben Macpherson, Minister for Public Finance and Migration, on the-
Revenue Scotland and Tax Powers Act 2014 Amendment Regulations 2020 [draft]; and the
Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (Tax Rates and Tax Bands) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2020 (SSI 2020/24).
The Forum met in the House of Commons on 21 June 2018, Cardiff on 25 October 2018, the House of Lords on 17 January 2019 and at the Scottish Parliament on 26 April 2019.
This included capacity to respond to adverse weather conditions or terrorist threats and policing specialist support such as murder investigation teams, firearms teams and tackling e-crime. 1Scottish Government. (2012). Policy Memorandum, para 26, page 7.
That is changing, so the legal consequences of the existing power imbalance will change come 26 May next year. Is it much different from what the professionals who work with children do and share at the moment?
The statutory definition of a “special school” includes either a school or “any class or other unit forming part of a public school which is not itself a 26 special school” but is especially suited to the additional support needs of pupils.
Livvi stressed the important that young people know what a normal and abnormal menstrual cycle looks like, and how to advocate for themselves in a country where you can expect to visit a doctor five times with the same symptoms to only be offered the pill or nothing.
