Sarah Boyack touched on what, for me, is a vital issue for consumers, the people who are going to have to go out and buy the products. As she said, she tried to do that today, and I have attempted to buy the same products, with no success.
It is not confined to amending section 7 of the Bill. Instead, modification may be made to any section within Part 1 of the Bill relating to success fee agreements by regulations made under section 7(3).
Travelling funfairs are not “regulated entertainment” and so 7 are not “licensable activities” for the purposes of the Licensing Act 2003 which applies to England and Wales.
Amendment 6 removes words that would be rendered unnecessary by amendment 7. Amendment 7 in effect reinstates the power to amend any paragraph that is added by paragraphs (b) or (c) of subsection (7).
