Assessing the council tax against the principles of "good" tax policymaking
This briefing presents the findings of research undertaken as part of an Academic Fellowship based in the Scottish Parliament Information Centre (SPICe) between June and November 2025.
I will ask a slightly different question, about how we disseminate best practice. We heard quite a lot about best practice from a range of witnesses last week.
As the Parliament agreed yesterday that the final stage will take place on Thursday 26 June, the deadline for lodging final stage amendments will be 4.30 pm on Monday 23 June.
