SFC Fiscal Update 2025 August 2025

Payment amounts differed depending on age, living arrangements, and whether clients were in receipt of qualifying benefits, primarily Pension Credit. We expected that the policy would apply to subsequent years and forecast spending to be £98 million in 2025-26, rising to £113 million in 2030-31.
