The Policy Memorandum references various articles and studies to argue the case that—
Men’s demand fuels prostitution and sex trafficking, and research into the attitudes of men buying sexual acts has shown that legality normalises the practice, while anonymity is a major factor driving demand, consistently finding that the majority would be deterred from buying sexual acts if it were illegal.

. • The next Vigil to protest the US blockade of Cuba takes place on Thursday December 19th in Glasgow. 3 • New year meetings will take place in Edinburgh and Glasgow Neil Findlay informed attendees that: • The organisation PAX Christie International; a Catholic peace movement will be arranging representatives from Colombia to visit the UK in January 2025. • Unity Consulting will likely plan future events focussed on peace where discussions from the CPG could be continued.
