The Executive has established a national steering group, that includes patient group representatives and stoma nurses, and which is meeting regularly to discuss the implementation of the new supply arrangements for stoma appliances.

To ask the Scottish Executive what assessment it has made of the availability of human gametes for donation in Scotland since the introduction of the new donor anonymity arrangements on 1 April 2005.
Officials are continuing to work with these stakeholders in the development and implementation of the new supply arrangements, and representatives are being sought for the National Steering Group which has been established.
