The levy rate is set each year by the Director General of Electricity Supply and is currently 0.8%. We will consult shortly on a new obligation to promote further development of renewable energy in Scotland, as part of which consultees will be asked for their views on support mechanisms that they consider to be necessary.

To ask the Scottish Executive what the minimum required level of equipment is in ambulances in Glasgow and how many Glasgow ambulances meet those requirements in terms of functioning equipment. All new Accident and Emergency ambulance vehicles are commissioned into service fully equipped to the specification current at the time of procurement.
