I am pleased to hear that the long-delayed report has finally been handed over to ministers, as there is much work to be done to ensure the most equitable distribution of cultural funding throughout Scotland.The minister will be aware that I have been keen to ensure that the National Galleries of Scotland increases the number of works made available for display at other sites throughout the country. She will also be aware that I campaigned for Titian’s “Diana and Actaeon” to be displayed in Glasgow, which proved a resounding success, as it had more than 140,000 visitors.
