To ask the Presiding Officer at how many Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body meetings, from 1 June 1999 onwards, the design, space or cost of the new Parliament building was discussed.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether it is satisfied that Midlothian Council met all statutory requirements in relation to public consultation on its proposals to construct the new A701 through the Edinburgh green belt.
When the issue was first raised, it was news to me. However, I now understand that the commission is an important part of parliamentary proceedings; it is a sort of quasi committee.
Are members content for us to advise Professor Dean that we do not consider this the appropriate time to review the 2002 act, as it is relatively new? Professor Dean referred to the MSPs for the wrong region, so we could advise him who the seven regional MSPs are for the Highlands and Islands.
Secondly, I suggested that there should be grade-separated junctions at Laurencekirk and further up the road towards Portlethen. Will the new minister with responsibility for transport tell me what has happened to those two ideas?
However, that decision does not prevent Scottish Power from burning sewage sludge at Longannet. Although it puts new regulatory requirements on that process, it does not prevent disposal of sewage sludge by that method.
