DELEGATED POWERS Section 1(3) inserting new section 6A(6) into the 2024 Act: Power to set the maximum amount which a local authority may set as the amount of levy to be charged under new section 6A(2) where the levy is based on a fixed amount (or amounts).

We heard concern that wayleaves would only be relevant to existing buildings, and also a risk to stakeholder goodwill and buy-in from taking compulsory action.
While the UK Agriculture Bill has now fallen with the prorogation of the UK Parliament on 8 October 2019, it will be up to a new UK Government to decide the future of this legislation.
