Interests I welcome members to the eighth meeting this session of the Justice 2 Committee and I particularly welcome Maureen Macmillan, who is joining us as a new member. I thank her predecessor Scott Barrie for his efforts; he has been confronted with diary clashes and has had to resign from the committee.
That committee has indicated that it intends to carry out a brief review of developments since the new permitted development rights for telecommunications were introduced in July 2001, and that it would welcome referral of the petition, so that the petition can be taken into account in that inquiry.
