To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-26868 by Malcolm Chisholm on 2 July 2002, what progress has been made in creating a combined community and hospital medicines utilisation database. NHS National Services Scotland (NHS NSS) is establishing a medicines utilisation unit headed by a chief pharmaceutical adviser.
