It is expected that in most circumstances a joint tenancy would end with no issues in line with current arrangements e.g. subject to the landlord’s agreement, the exiting tenant’s interest in the tenancy is assigned to another tenant, the remaining tenants take on the exiting tenants’ liability or mutual agreement to end the tenancy is given by all joint tenants.
Tenant Farmers focus group 22 January 2025 –the Committee heard from a group of 12 tenant farmers (split into 2 groups for discussion) identified through discussions with the Scottish Tenant Farmers Association, NFU Scotland and the Nature-Friendly Farming Network.
However, the symptoms were dismissed as potential consequences of declining eyesight or excessive screen exposure. This dismissal, I am convinced, was due to the limitations imposed by the prevailing FAST campaign.

I visited Shelter Scotland on the day after the programme for government launch and heard directly from advice workers on the massive challenges that tenants experience day to day and the urgent need to support tenants who are in difficulty.
