(S2O-4296) As the member will have heard in the response to an earlier question, Tom McCabe and I plan to meet the review committee early in the new year to hear of progress in its work.
Following our questioning, the Executive has withdrawn the original instrument, redrafted and relaid it. Members will find the new instrument under item 6 of our agenda.
The committee will remember that we asked two questions on new section 4B(5)(da), which the bill will insert into the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978.
Given that this is the first meeting of the Parliament after the new year, is it appropriate to wait until the rest of the SNP group turns up before we take the vote?
After recess, I hope that there will be new items on the agenda. However, this is the Executive's response to the European employment strategy and corporate social responsibility report that was issued by the previous committee.
