I would also like to know when the women's group from Sheffield, which the deputy minister mentions in his letter, is going to come up to Scotland to carry out some monitoring. Could we perhaps get a timescale for that? It would also be useful to know where exactly that group will go.

Given that one in two women and one in five men in Scotland who are over 50 face fragility fractures and the misery and diminished quality of life that they entail, does the First Minister agree that, like Cyprus, Latvia, France, Germany and Austria, the nation of Scotland should make the issue a priority for the hundreds of thousands of people whose lives could be improved immeasurably? I am getting looks from the Presiding Officer about the time, so I will be very brief.The phrase "national priority" has a particular connotation in the context of the national health service in Scotland and there are many demands for additional national priorities.

Under decoupling, production decisions will be influenced by market returns but not by subsidy payments.
