Certain organisations, including some charitable organisations andother organisations which serve a public function, are currently exempted from chargesunder the Water and Sewerage Charges (Exemption) (Scotland) Regulations2002.The Executive previously extendedthe exemption scheme from 2006-10 to allow more time for organisations to prepareto pay for their water services.
