I do not underestimate the difficulty of trying to cut out the supply of drugs in prisons. However, many prisoners want to get away from that kind of lifestyle; they want support to come off drugs and to get back into their communities to live law-abiding and substance misuse-free lives.

Is the minister aware of the hardship that is faced by many of those who suffer from hepatitis C, such as the young man in my constituency who cannot even get mortgage insurance? Does he agree that many of those people will require additional and on-going support?
