Nonetheless, I would have thought that, in drafting an order that replaces an earlier, flawed one, the Executive would want to be scrupulous in getting every detail correct. Indeed, the quality and reputation of Scottish farming benefit from the natural produce that we in Scotland boast about at home and abroad. Farmers who are lucky enough to get on the organic aid scheme might get a little bit more money, but the First Minister is missing the point.
