I note the apparent ease with which people can apply to get more coal out of Scotland. SOOT's figures are self-evident and quite damning, if they are verifiable, as I am sure they are.Adam Ingram addressed the health issues very well.
It has been suggested that the committee will consider the matter in March. As we know, once things get into the European circuit, it can take a long time to achieve any result.
Do members agree to do that for half an hour before each meeting, if the legal adviser feels that that is sufficient time in which to brief members? Can we get some indication as to how likely it is that we will get information early enough?
