To ask the Scottish Executive whether the commissioning of new service providers by NHS boards and the training of staff and establishment of local accessible offices will be effected prior to the abolition of health councils on 31 March 2004.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether the development of any hospitals, or additional hospital facilities, has been delayed owing to an inadequate provision of water and sewerage services. This is a matter for NHS bodies which have day-to-day responsibility with no information of the nature requested being held centrally.
Thereafter it will be a matter for the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body to decide when the building should open, bearing in mind the need to minimise the cost and disruption involved in the migration of staff, services, furniture, and equipment. S2W-00018
