I suggest that 29 February would be the best day for that. It looks like we will have a lot of subordinate legislation to deal with at the next meeting on 15 February.
I am sure that the Law Society lodged the amendment with the best intentions. I am reassured by the minister's comments and I seek permission to withdraw amendment 19.

The commitment to introduce an additional Scottish award for the best publicly-funded building remains under review, although I have no plans at present to launch the award in 2003.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has considered the responses to its consultation paper published on 8 June 2000, Best Value in Local Government: Next Steps.
The responses that we have received have ranged from "This training was life changing" to a letter that was, at best, vitriolic, which said that we were vulgar and that we were promoting homosexuality.
Being ambitious about seeking out partners, learning best practice and pursuing that course with other constitutional regions are all steps that I welcome.
