I was heartened to see the outcome of the survey with regard not only to smoking in public places but to the fact that people throughout the United Kingdom endorse the actions that have been taken by the coalition Executive on free personal and nursing care.The consultation on smoking that will take place later this year is an important plank in the Executive's health improvement and promotion work. We want to ensure that when people are asked to respond to that consultation, they can do so in an informed way.
