The Health and Care (Staffing)(Scotland) Bill - Resources and Finance

For up to three years there will be additional funding for boards to support staff training (£664,430 assuming that 50% of Band 7 nurses will be trained) and to fund 16 new nurse managers to apply, collate, analyse and report information from the nursing and midwifery tools (£931,469 in 2019-20, with half that amount being provided in the immediately preceding and proceeding years) However, there appears to be no new funding to review and improve the existing tools.
