Legislative Consent Memorandum: The Animal Welfare (Kept Animals) Bill - Purpose of the UK Bill and how it relates to Scotland
Clause 44(2) amends Scottish Ministers’ existing power to make regulations for the purposes of securing the welfare of animals in section 26 of the Animal Health and Welfare (Scotland) Act 2006 to include a power to amend or revoke any retained direct EU legislation.
