I received the comment that people in the co-operative sector are anxious that that sector be acknowledged. I made the point that, although the report acknowledges that there is a connection between the voluntary sector and the co-operative sector, we were focusing on the voluntary sector.Are there any other comments on the work programme?

One of the advantages of modern technologies is that to a greater extent than ever before we can package and individualise learning, allowing learners to progress at a pace most suited to them. I fully support Des McNulty's point that that is a major benefit. Do all schools have e-mail facilities?

If there is a problem with investment in roads in the Highlands, the starting point for dealing with that problem would be for Highland Council to decide to spend up to its GAE level on roads maintenance, which it does not currently do.
